Unanswered Questions of Being Productive With Bill Baren
It has been a long road to the end of The Time Experts Telesummit, yet it feels like only the beginning of a great journey. I had an amazing time learning, practicing and sharing. I have learned so much from our experts and from so many of the people who have participated in the Telesummit. I am brimming with gratitude.
For the final session, my friend and colleague, Kris Carey, will be interviewing me to extract the unanswered questions of being productive and playing a bigger game. I can’t wait to see the tables turn with me being able to share my expertise freely instead of doing the interviewing.
I look forward to sharing with you my personal insights on time and how my relationship with time has improved. These changes have improved my personal and professional life in a deep and profound level.

Dream Big With Marcia Wieder
According to Marcia Wieder “passion is your greatest time management tool.” I really appreciate this approach to time management and have completely embraced this idea in my own work. It has truly transformed how I work, what I work on and created more satisfaction in my life.
Think about it - if you’re really passionate about what you are doing the traditional ideas of time management don’t apply. We only think about time when we’re NOT in the flow of what we’re doing. When we are passionate, we are so absorbed in what we do, time becomes so much less relevant.
Marcia Wieder, America’s Dream Coach is passionate about opening your eyes to unlocking the passion and making time for those dreams to become reality. In addition to being a charismatic speaker she’s the renowned author of four books dedicated to achieving your dreams, including “Making Your Dreams Come True”, which has also been translated into numerous languages.
Appearing several times on Oprah and The Today Show, she’s shared her message of a “passion-filled life” with millions of viewers. Equally exciting, was the PBS featured national television special, Making Your Dreams Come True, named after her popular selling book.
Marcia will be addressing balancing your soul and your ego when it comes to achieving your dreams and managing your time. The importance of slowing down to allow room for new dreams in your life and creating a frequent practice of “checking in with your soul.”
I would love to hear from you if you’ve “made time” to achieve you dreams. Or, perhaps you have a dream but something is stopping you? Is it a shortage of time or something else? What do you think about Marcia’s belief that “passion is your greatest time management tool?” Is this something that rings true for you in your current line of work or business?

Time Mastery with Andrea Lee
According to the dictionary a master is “a person with the ability or power to use, control, or dispose of something.” Time “mastery” may seem daunting and even unattainable. Yet you are the master of time already - you just don’t know how to apply your super powers quite yet. Our next speaker Andrea Lee will show you how to release those powers and become a master of your time.
Andrea is an award-winning author, coach, consultant and online business manager to entrepreneurs on five continents. She is an author and thought-leader in the field of personal and business coaching and has helped build and manage one the most innovative coach training organizations in the world. Andrea helps businesses attain financial success while creating lives rich with meaning and laughter.
Do women have a harder time managing time than men? Or rather, do women just realize their weaknesses more then us men and want to improve on them? As our first female speaker in our series, this is a concept I am very eager to hear Andrea talk about. I’d also like to hear what you think. Do men and women manage their time differently?
I am also excited for her to share her concept of the “lint trap.” After this discussion I know that you will be cleaning your lint trap on a regular basis. Want to know what I’m talking about? Yeah, me too.

Overcoming Procrastination with Dr. Neil Fiore
The first “Aha” moment I had in reading Dr. Neil Fiore’s “The Now Habit” was that procrastination is an emotional issue. What makes things worse, is that procrasination compounds itself because it also causes anxiety, frustration, stress, anger and feelings of helplessness. So we get into a never ending loop of not doing what we want to be doing and then feeling bad about, which makes it hard to start doing.
How do we put a stop to all of this?
I wanted you to hear the answer to this important question from THE Expert on the subject, Neil Fiore.
Neil is a widely acknowledged psychologist, lecturer, and author in the field of optimal performance and personal productivity. His bestselling book “The Now Habit: A Strategic Program for Overcoming Procrastination” has given me some excellent insight into the causes of procrastination - and the cures.
In studying Neil’s work, I learned a lot about myself and have already practiced many of the tools with my clients. I now know why I used to put off certain things, until the pressure was strong enough for me to do something about it.
What I really appreciate about Neil’s approach is that he doesn’t see the cause of procrastination as a defect in your character. Neil’s approach is positive and allows you to not have to be so hard on yourself. Once you understand WHY your procrastinating on certain things you increase your ability to actually DO something about it.
I’m looking forward to introducing you to Dr. Neil Fiore.

Peak Performance with Dr. Jim Loehr
When we were putting together the line-up for the Telesummit, I wanted to make sure that we approached time management from many different perspectives. So I was delighted to hear that Jim Loehr was joining us. When I read his book, The Power of Full Engagement, I was immediately taken with the notion that enegy, not time is the key to high performance and personal renewal.
It makes total sense that time and energy are completely related. It’s not how much time we spend on what we are doing, but how much energy we bring to the acitivity is the secret to a successful and fulfilling life. I love the notion of creating peak performance in our business and life.
Jim Loehr lets us know how to access our key sources of energy, how to balance our energy expenditures and the importance of creating specific, positive energy management rituals.
In his book Jim makes a point that really hit me - the amount of time you have available in a day is fixed but, how much energy we exert in our work and free time is totally up to us. We just have to learn to manage it effectively in order to make the most of the day itself. It is such a simple concept but I found it quite profound.
Dr. Jim Loehr is a world-renowned performance psychologist and many of his clients include famous athletes such as golfer Mark O’Meara and Olympic gold medal speed skater Dan Jansen as well as professionals in law enforcement and Fortune 100 executives. We may not be hardened athletes or stealth FBI agents but, if we could use their tactics for success think of how much you could get done and how great you’ll feel? If Jim can help those people harness and manage their energy then he definitely has some tools you’ll want to hear about.

Total Leadership with Stewart Friedman
“I never have enough time for my friends, family or myself. All I do is work, work, work.” Does this sound familiar to you? We all know that taking a break from work and spending time with our loved ones and our selves is crucial to preventing burn out, frustration and stress. But why is it that we never make time for those things?
It’s definitely something I have been grappling with in my own life, as I significantly expand my coaching business and start new ventures (like this Telesummit). It’s also an issue that many of my clients have as well.
Reading Total Leadership: Be a Better Leader, Have a Richer Life by Stewart Friedman was like a breath of fresh air for me. As I began to learn and implement his system, the various parts of my life no longer felt like they competed against one another. And now - my family, my business and my personal life feel a lot more integrated. And it just feels so much better to be inside my own life, living it fully and from a place of personal power.
As you can tell I am really excited to share Stewart’s wisdom with you. He has made a tremendous difference in my life and I am sure, you will learn a great deal on the call.
Stewart Friedman is the founder of Total Leadership. He is an innovator in both the leadership development and work-life fields. His most recent book Total Leadership provides groundbreaking insights into the theory of work-life balance. In the session, Stewart will share why he thinks that work-life balance is a myth and should be thrown out the window. He believes that seeing it as a balance means that we are constantly taking from one area and giving to another, which makes us feel rushed, stressed and guilty. When we’re spending time with friends and family we feel stressed because we’re not working. And, when we’re working too much and not making time for others we feel guilty.
I can’t wait for you to hear Stewart’s insights and the whole new approach to making sure you are successful at work while still spending time with those most important in your life.

The Time Paradox: The New Psychology of Time with Philip Zimbardo
Philip Zimbardo was my psychology professor at Stanford University, and he was consistently regarded as the most popular professor at Stanford for his brilliant insights into the human mind and his engaging teaching style. So you know I am excited about this session.
The most important secret for you to take your time management to the next level might just be your understanding how you THINK about time. Just reading Zimbardo’s book alone was a profound revelation for me, just think how transformative this insightful conversation will be.
